Four women accused of witchcraft are stripped, tied up and burned by angry mob Horrifying footage has emerged showing four women suspected of witchcraft being tortured, stripped, tied up and burned by an angry mob in Papua New Guinea. The women were accused of sorcery after a young man fell ill in a village in Enga province in August. Social media posts said the women were accused of “invisibly” taking the man’s heart, and then putting it back after they were tortured. In their attackers’ eyes this would also prove their guilt as sorcerers. In the footage, the women are being prodded and threatened with machetes while being questioned by a group of men. According to the translation the women deny having done anything, and plead with their attackers. The woman begs: "My son, stop it!” says one woman, laying on the ground. “Talk out, where did you put it?” comes the reply. “Burn her with the wire.” “I’ve got nothing to do with it,” says ano...

Last of Yoruba 'horrible' twins (Ibeji Oran), Taiwo Osuolale has died If you watch Yoruba movies, then you must be very familiar with them. After one year of his twin brother's passing, the other brother of Yoruba actors popular known as 'Ibeji Oran' has died. According to a LIB source, Taiwo died a few days ago and has been buried in his house at Owode along Ilesa, Osun State. His twin brother, Kehinde died exactly one year ago, in October 2014. Both twins who starred in a popular Yoruba film 'Ide' were in their early 40's. He is survived by a daughter born to him by his ex-wife, Folake. May their souls rest in peace, amen.

Gov. Rochas named a government building after his daughter? The current Imo state governor's first daughter is named Uloma Nwosu (nee Okorocha). She married one of his commissioners, Uche Nwosu in 2014. According to Chinedu Ozordi, the governor named a government building after his daughter. Chinedu shared the photo and wrote "In 2015 public building in Imo State is named after the daughter of the gov."

Tribunal sacks Wike as Rivers governor, orders rerun The Rivers state election petition tribunal sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers state today nullified Governor Nyesom Wike's election. The tribunal led by Justice Ambusa said the April 11 2015 election which brought Wike to power was marred by election fraud and violence. He ordered for a rerun election. The petition challenging Wike's election was filed by APC candidate, Dukuku Peterside

I am still the Governor, I wll appeal Tribunals verdict- Wike Nyesom Wike says despite the ruling by the state election petition tribunal annulling the  April 11th  election that brought him to power, he is still the state governor.

I will continue to miss my late wife, Stella – Obasanjo Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says he and his family will continue to miss his late wife, Stella Obasanjo who died after a botched surgery in Spain on October 23rd 2005. Obasanjo said this during the 10th memorial service for his late wife which held at the Chapel of Christ the Glorious King within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta yesterday October 23rd "I wont say much about her today because much had been written already in my tribute about my late wife in the book, ‘My Watch’ and part of it says, she will be dearly missed by me, my family and the Abebe family,” he said The memorial service had in attendance Senator Ben Bruce, Fomer Ekiti state governor Segun Oni, John Abebe and others.
